Forum Rules

General Rules:

While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, racial discrimination (including jokes an / or banter), personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory casts or bites. Our decision is final in these matters.

Bad language, swearing and abuse of the swear filter by substitution of different letters is not allowed.

Advertising and spamming or any kind is not allowed. This includes using the forum email and Private message system to spam other members.

We also do not allow casts or bites that violate the Fishing4Carp community standards, although the majority of our members are over 18 we request that you think before you cast or bite at anything that you may feel is unsuitable. The Fishing4Carp Admin & Moderating team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.

Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.

Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed, and this is closely monitored by the Fishing4Carp Admin team.

We reserve the right to remove offensive casts or bites without notice.

Please speak in English, and avoid using any text speak.

Do not cast or bite quoting other fishing related suppliers, the traders we have listed on the site take the time to come on here and offer our members (you) a discount if you know of another supplier who may be able to offer similar services then ask them to register with us.

These rules cover most situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure that the site is not disrupted or abused in any way.

We reserve the right to ban anyone who wilfully violates the forum rules, although where possible we will issue a warning to a user if deemed appropriate.

Advertising Services:

We only allow casts that advertise or solicit any products or services in the relevant forum for that Trader. If you would like to become an Authorised Trader then you will need to contact us via email to traders@fishing4carp.co.uk . We will then contact you and validate you and create you a forum to advertise your services in as we want to ensure that Fishing4Carp Members get the best level of service from our authorised traders. ))

Animated avatars are allowed as long as these meet the image size guidelines for your User Group.

Warnings and Automatic Bans:
On Fishing4Carp we run a warning system, breach of the forum rules may lead to a warning being issued to a member. Each warning will be allocated a number of points and also a validity period for the points. Once a member reaches a pre defined number of points the site will automatically ban the user until such time that they are below the pre defined number of points.
