Its always a topic of much debate, but i persoanlly have always liked the Dynamite baits freezer range.

Normally, I will try and use a sweet bait and a savoury bait, although most carp anglers will tell you that sweeter flavours wrok better when its collder.

With that said, lately I have been using the peach and melba flavour, with some success. ”

“I was looking at the peach melba flavour about 3 weeks ago but after watching thinking tackle and seeing danny puts tuna in his spod mix i tend to look for the fishmeal type of boilies as i now swear by fishmeal baits .

I was also looking at nanana nut crunch chocolate malt but i feel that the name is just to catch the angler.

I also feel that some of the younger anglers out here go on what sounds smells good not on whats in the bait they are using as i did when i started carping now i look at whats in the bait.

But at the end of the day it all gos on what people feel will get them there next bite i do envy people that go out try bait that sounds smells good as i now cant bring my self to do this any more lol.

Probably going to use GB Baits for this season as the lake I am going to in france, (Redmill) uses them.
In the UK i tend to use either Dynamite Baits newest range, peach and melba recently... Dynamite Baits always seem to produce fish. I also like to use Icelandic Red as my fallback... when all else fails if they dont eat them then they aint in the lake!! ”

“the baits that ive got in the freezer for this season is nash squid scopex(a good all year round bait,the cell (say no more)and the matrix (my fishey bait),tend to use squid scopex most of the time.”

“I find bait can be a funny thing.

Some people will get good result on a baits and not on a bait that poeple are hooking carp on at the same lake dose any one els think or find this or is it just me that feels this way cuz i feel like it a when that happens to me lol

“I find on a short day trip that pinapple pop ups from nash work really well.

If im on a longer session i will tend to use natural baits to catch! sweetcorn and maize is always a winner if there are limited numbers of carp in the water but is important to keep the area baited if a shoal of bream swim over they will wipe you out!”
