“Sounds good mate. Clifton lakes look like it holds some nice commons. Much like Bazil it sounds a lot like you have more fisheries than lamp posts up there! Down here in South London we are not so lucky! ”

“its called newbold quarry, the person who caught two from there works at banks and burr, a fishing tackle shop in rugby. its quite big an realy deep, i fink the deepest parts by the cliffs. iv lived by it most my life an im 22 now, an since i was young iv fished it. iv caught tench pike an big perch there but neva a carp, but yeh i have seen them an id say they are the biggest carp iv ever seen, the reason i havent fished for them is because they hang out by the cliffs and its to far

“Blimey, that looks like it will hold some beasts.
Deep water does put a lot of anglers off, but i would be inclined to try floaters or perhaps fish mid water in the hot weather.
Have you tried floaters down there, or is that a silly question ”

“no cuz its too far. the man who caught 2 from there had em on floaters, but he used a baitboat an he had his mate up in the cliffs on the otherside watching his bait talking on mobiles so when he got a bite he told him on the phone very hard fish to catch but they are monsters an if you get just 1 it will be worth it”
