“Has anyone fished yateley south lake?? If so what size fish did you have what tack ticks did you use?
ive fishe it once had nothing but my mate bird man had a 10LB a PB at 17LB 8oz both were mirrors they were both on the method feeder.. ”

I would recommend Furnace lakes if your after big carp and catz and dont mind travelling.
It is a bit pricey at 30 quid per night, but the average sized carp in some of the lakes is about 25lb smiley

Plantation and Kiln are the hardest lakes and naturally they have the biggest carp (both lakes have carp to around 50lb).

I would recommend Roman lake as it has loads of carp in the 20 - 30lb bracket (the lake record is 47lb eyepopping ), but you can expect at least one or two 20s in a 24 hour period, with a few smaller 14lb - 18lbers along the way, aswell as the chance of a few kittens or even a cat sad smiley .

The key to Roman is fishing tight to the island or lilly pads and by tight I mean within 6 - 8 inches.”
