A remarkable creature that has
adapted well to life in the UK
having colonised
many of the UKs waters to the
delight of many British anglers.
Common carp, despite the name are
not actually as common as many other
types of carp, namely the mirror
carp. Their main diet naturally
consists of small snails, fly's,
bloodworm and most other small
aquatic creatures including other
fish. Common Carp like their closely
related counterpart are actually
descended from the common
goldfish. |
